於光在大進街上靠近大隆路口,對面為東興國小,距離咖啡廳漫佈的精誠街不遠。寬敞的門口應該是不難讓你錯過他的身影。餐廳用餐空間挺寬敞的,內部裝飾使用了許多特別的素材,像是酒瓶燈罩或是用20公升空大水桶作為裝飾。
Solar Table is located in a wide but relatively quiet street called Da-Jin Street just opposite of Municipal Dongxingguomin Elementary School. Its not far from Jingcheng Rd area where you find lots of nice cafes. Parking space around shouldn't be much of a problem. The restaurant front is pretty big so you should see it with its large glass front as soon as you get close to it. The dining area is pretty large and professionally designed with many beautiful design ideas such as the wine bottle chandelier.

於光無加收服務費,所以餐具茶水點餐都得自己動手來喔!
Solar Table doesn't have a service charge, so you got to make sure to get the cutlery and complementary water yourself.
餐點有鹹食、甜食、單點小食為全日供應,另外中午11:00-15:00還供應家庭風味料理,也就是有白米飯的套餐;飲料則有咖啡、熱飲、汽泡飲和果汁。
既然是介紹早午餐,所以就特別介紹一下他們的鹹食系囉!
麵包有布丁煎法國香榭麵包 或 自家手作蜂蜜馬鈴薯麵包二選一,主食則有六種選擇可做以及一杯每日飲品(更換單點飲品折$50)。
The food covers salty foods, desserts, small dishes all day, also they will have their family speciality dishes (rice dishes) ready from 11:00-15:00, drinks including coffee, hot drinks, carbonated drinks as well as juices.
Since we already have the brunch part covered mostly, lets get more into detail for their salty foods.
There are 2 Bread choices: Fried French Baguette or Homemade honey potato bread, 6 kinds of side dishes that you can pick as you want, and one drink for whole set. (for a set, if changing to another drink, it will be 50NT$ cheaper)

餐點一上桌馬上吸引我目光的就是那佔滿將近三分之二盤面的綠色生菜!於光使用的沙拉生菜種類超多,和平常我們常見的萵苣、蘿美不同,在這我倒也說不上來使用了什麼樣的蔬菜,不過玉米筍和地瓜就真的是滿特別的,而且為這道沙拉添了一些健康的甜味!沙拉醬則是用芝麻醬,那香氣真的會讓你把整盤沙拉吃光!
First of all what jumps into your eye when you look at the plate is probably the amount of salad you get in this restaurant. But not only the amount of salad is great but also the variety of salads are not one of those standard vegetables you will see around in Taiwan. The salad comes with one of those awesome sesame dressings you'll start to love here in Taiwan (oh god I love sesame dressing :X).
Also you will find some sweet potato slices on the top.

漢堡肉上面一片融化的起司,嗯~整塊肉排扎實飽滿,雖然不大,但是對於女生來說倒是罪惡的剛好XD。

French Baguette with Japanese Miso Mushrooms 190$
沙拉的部分就不贅述了。素食的饕客們可以選擇野菇的搭配。用日式味增炒杏鮑姑,再撒上白芝麻添加了它的香氣。
As the salad on the plate is the same as on the other plate, I'll not mention it again.
A small side dish on the veggie plate is the two kinds of mushrooms which are cooked salty with a soy sauce kind of thing sprinkled with sesame.
這布丁煎法國麵包就是我想要在台灣吃到的麵包口感!酥脆外皮和鬆軟的麵包經過他們的處理,口感極好,香氣十足,單吃就很好吃了!不過你也可以加價購買他們提供的抹醬,像是貝爾佩斯軟乳酪或是自家做的果醬等。
The Baguette is something you want to see on more Taiwanese brunch plates! I loved the crispy toasted consistency, thats how I want to eat my bread! For the spread you have a choice between several things such as cheese, butter etc.
飲品部分我們各自換成了熱蜂蜜拿鐵(+$50)和熱可可歐蕾(+$50)
可可歐蕾的部分他們用了法國巧克力與牛奶調和,巧克力濃且順口,這才是真的熱可可嘛!
另外一杯蜂蜜拿鐵就是拿鐵加蜂蜜囉!(我們真的很愛嘗試一些奇怪的飲品XD)雖然奇特但倒是出乎意料的好喝!不過在喝之前記得要充分攪拌讓奶泡上的蜂蜜混合到咖啡裡,否則你會像我一樣被第一口給甜得嚇到XD!我是滿喜歡這味道的,不過喜好這東西就真的滿因人而異囉!
We changed our drinks to Hot Chocolate (+50$) and Honey Latte (+50$) .
The hot chocolate was just right, not sure what brand of cocoa they are using, but they know what they are doing, it was thick and had a good chocolate taste! Just how you want to see it served!
The honey latte has just like the name suggests a rather strong honey taste in it. Make sure you get the honey left on the foam top into the latte to not get a sweet surprise on the first sip. I like the combination of honey and latte but I guess its kind of a matter of taste!

於光堅持使用自家栽種的蔬菜,或許在價位上與別家早午餐相比偏高,但是對於一個懂得享受美食以及享受健康的人來說,這樣的餐點是種滿足。
Solar Table insists on offering something that they plant or make themselves. According to their Facebook, they have a farm in Dakeng and they use tea leaves with good quality from Nantou for their drinks (It's even free in a set). Therefore, even if the price of the meals are bit higher than other brunches, it's still worth it though!
